The Swamp of Screams has earned its name by the haunting screams of those caught off guard during their travels.  The screams most likely start from seeing the larger than human sized Stakatos that have overrun the area, and end in an agonizing scream as adventurers are quickly dispatched by the brutal nature of the insect-like terrors.  Also found in the Swamp is the [[Stakato Nest]].
