[[Cruma]] are giant tortoises and belong to the so-called [[Genesis Creatures]] that were born at the beginning of time when the Original Globe was shattered. There only ever existed four of those beasts and they have become extinct long ago; we can only imagine their shape from the three huge shells that lie upon the [[Cruma Marshlands]]. Some people claim that the fourth Cruma might be still living in a hidden corner of the world, but after a series of adventures that started with Head Blacksmith [[Kusto]] in the [[Town of Giran]] it was confirmed that the last Cruma died many years ago during the war between [[Light Elves|Elves]] and [[Humans]] in a heroic rearguard action where it enabled its Elven friends to retreat to the safety of their forest.
