The ruins were used in the past by the [[Elves]] as a School of Wizardry to train magically talented humans. They say that deep underground there used to be a temple where the [[Elves]] performed sacrificial rites to the spirits of fire and water. After the [[Humans]] betrayed the [[Elves]] the school was abandoned and is now in ruins. These days [[Sir Collin Windawood]] has sealed the entrance and forbidden the villagers to go into the ruins, due to the dangerous monsters that reside there now. However adventurers can still explore the ruins by speaking to Gatekeeper [[Siff]] and exit with the help of Gatekeeper [[Tiramisa]].
