[[Frikios]] was a Spellhowler personally trained in magic by Tetrarch [[Thifiell]]. Under the influence of the strict regimen imposed on him by the Tetrarch, Frikios acquired early on the habit of suppressing his feelings, channeling those energies into his magic and unleashing them with devastating force. Not being aware what was going on in his heart he always kept a set face while at the same time harboring a great number of secrets, the most important being his love affair with Thifiell's foster daughter [[Elcardia]]. When he and [[Shikken|Shiken Gloomdrake]] of the Griffon Knights were charged by Thifiell to bring a copy of Kaysha's Revelation that had recently been discovered safely to [[Dark Elven Village]], Frikios turned against his people. He stole some chapters from the holy scripture and escaped to the city, where he wanted to meet up with Elcardia. At first the two of them succeeded in hiding their trail, but Shiken Gloomdrake, also known as Shikken, tracked them down and eliminated the traitor.
