Herod was once a prestigious knight of [[Gludio]]. During the war with [[Gracia]] he was tempted by an enemy leader to commit treason, and became an an agent of the invaders. [[Sir Klaus Vasper]] chased him into the [[Wastelands]] and put a spear through his heart, leaving him there to rot rather than give him a proper funeral.
