Strictly speaking, the Nephilim can be considered as magical entities that were created by merging the pure spirit of light with the bodies of Humans. The Nephilim Army consists of soldiers, officers and priests, corresponding to the three sections in the Lilim forces, their designated enemy. Apart from that there is a sub-species of Nephilim called Gigants, soldiers of lesser ability who assist them in battle. The Nephilim were part of the Imperial Army, and persons who were not at least knighted, commoners or slaves, or soldiers whose body was not absolutely perfect, maybe due to some battle injury, were not qualified to join that elite unit. But having obtained Anakim blessing, the Gigants were able to act as support troops in Shunaiman crusade against the Children of Shilen and anybody else who was considered as pagan by the Emperor. | |||
