The corpse of Researcher Kronin lies in the center of the Swamp of Screams. He was sent out by the Golden Ram Mercenary Force to locate Forgotten Monuments in the swamp, which were used by priest of the Elmoreden Empire for astronomical observation. He never made it back to camp however.
