Doctor Chaos, a mad scientist from the Black Anvil Guild, occasionally shows up near the Archaic Laboratory resp. the Pavel Ruins, not far from his former secretary Wendy. Once a Maestro, Doctor Chaos was expelled from the Black Anvil Guild after he had presumably triggered an explosion that destroyed most of the north wing of Pavel's laboratory. He swore revenge on the Black Anvil Guild, styling himself as the "Emperor of Evil", with his ultimate goal being nothing short of world domination. Doctor Chaos views all outsiders as assassins sent by the Black Anvil Guild; when someone tries to talk to him, he breaks out in wild curses, runs away to his shed and comes back with his Gigantic Chaos Golem.
