Canna Knights

The Canna Knights were an elite regiment that was responsible for the security of Princess Melissa, the niece of the Elmoreden emperor. As it often happens with bodyguards, they were deeply devoted to their mistress, never questioning her actions, even when she started to study the arcane arts.

Other members of the Imperial Court saw things differently. A family that had come into power with the help of Einhasad and needed the support of the Einhasad clergy to stay in power could not tolerate such heathen activities from one of their members. First a rumor was spread that Melissa was meddling in the black arts, then she was banished from the court by her uncle, the emperor.

When Melissa left Aden and moved to the Summer Labyrinth in Schuttgart Territory, the Canna Knights followed her into exile, still protecting her. Although they knew that it was Melissa's meddling in magic that had brought them all to this abandoned place, they did nothing to intercept the sorcerer Seyani when he was seeking an audience with the Princess. Of course they could not know that this was in reality Gran Kain doing mischief, but they should have been aware that nothing good could come from Melissa meeting such a person.

The outcome of the meeting is known - Melissa was transformed into Ice Queen Freya, the Summer Labyrinth turned into the Frozen Labyrinth. The Canna Knights had to leave the palace. But they stayed in the area. Having regrouped under the name of "Zinnia Guild" they are now seeking ways to restore Princess Melissa to her old shape.
