Zinnia Guild

After the magical accident that turned Princess Melissa into Ice Queen Freya and the Summer Labyrinth into the Frozen Labyrinth we know today, Melissa's bodyguards, the Canna Knights had to leave her palace. They did not disband, however, but stayed in contact, regrouping under the name of Zinnia Guild. They named their association after a flower that could be found all over the Summer Labyrinth, expressing their hope that one day the ice covering the area will melt and Princess Melissa will be restored to her old self.

The Zinnia Guild never left the area, but in order to escape the eyes of Freya and Ice Fairy Sirra, her former handmaiden, they are now wearing for the most part civilian clothes. Sirra, who also underwent a radical change during the magical accident, is a rather unstable woman, making Melissa responsible for what she has become and wanting to take revenge on her. Therefore she perceives the Zinnia Guild, who is still loyal to Melissa, as her enemy, doing her best to eradicate them while fiercely guarding the access to the Ice Queen's Castle.

While other members of the Zinnia Guild are trying to gather intelligence, seeking a way to penetrate into Freya's palace, Rafforty is recruiting adventurers who are willing to support the Guild in their great plan. He has taken up the profession of ice merchant, selling ice to the rich families all over Elmore and Aden. On the one hand the revenue from this trade helps to finance the Guild, on the other hand it is a perfect cover. For a man of such standing it is not unusual that strangers come and go at his cabin - who can tell whether they are customers or whether they have more sinister business.
