Sirra

Sirra used to be a handmaiden of Princess Melissa. She had accompanied her mistress from the Imperial Court in Aden into exile and was living together with her in the old palace in the northwestern part of the Summer Labyrinth.

When the accident happened that transformer her mistress into Ice Queen Freya, Sirra was standing right next to her and was hit by a shard from the crystal orb. The cold aura emanating from the shard lodged in her body started to impinge on her sanity. Sirra, being not completely wrong, thinks that Princess Melissa is responsible for her transformation into a monster and wants to take revenge on her former mistress. For that purpose she is at the moment in the process of entering into an alliance with the Zinnia Guild.

Sirra is in two minds about the whole undertaking. Part of her wants to rescue Princess Melissa and restore her to her old shape. If adventurers who act as go-between for the Zinnia Guild agree to that plan, they are embarking on a dangerous journey; first of all Ice Queen Freya must be overcome, which is not easy. To help them, Sirra provides them with five Black Ice Kernels that make them immune against Freya's freezing magic. A different part of Sirra admires the power that Ice Queen Freya is wielding. In her innermost heart she wants to be as powerful as her former mistress, replacing her as the ruler of the Frozen Labyrinth. Chances are that Sirra will not be able to withstand the lure of that power.

Until recently, Sirra was hiding out in a frozen basin in front of the Ice Queen's Castle, on the north-western fringes of the Frozen Labyrinth. Meeting her was not easy. First an adventurer had to run a number of errands for Ice Merchant Rafforty, then he or she had to collect 10 Silver Hemocytes by killing monsters in the Frozen Labyrinth. These Hemocytes had to be taken to Freya's Steward who can still be found standing near the bridge that leads to the little island where the Ice Queen's Castle is located.

Being granted entry to the island was just the first step. Then a number of obstacles needed to be overcome: a group of seven buffaloes under the command of Freya's Gardener, a group of eight Gargoyles, Freya's Servants, which were best avoided, then a group of seven White Bears under the command of Freya's Dog. That Dog was a very intelligent creature. Each time one of the Bears in his care got killed, he set the others on the Healers in the raiding party. This was the moment when adventurers often used the Petrification Scrolls Freya's Steward gave them to make their Healer immune to the Bears' attacks.

The next challenge was the Captain of the Ice Queen's Royal Guard, a former officer of the Canna Knights who had got a crush on his mistress and was transformed by her into a Gargoyle, fiercely defending the approaches to her castle. Killing this monster was not only an undertaking in itself, but once he was dead, Sirra's Pages were not able to heal her for 8 minutes. Then the raiders could finally meet Ice Fairy Sirra.

In the meantime Sirra has discarded her armor of ice and put back on her old court dress. She still has the haughty way of speaking she acquired when she used to kill reckless adventurers in the blink of an eye, but to achieve her aim of taking revenge on Princess Melissa she is now acting quite diplomatically, at times even cooperating, albeit grudgingly, with the Zinnia Guild.But don't get deceived by her civil appearance - Sirra is not a nice person!
